There’s nothing more exciting than buying your first car or getting a brand new one. While you first drive your brand spanking new car, you can’t help love the feel and smell of it. In the beginning, it is really your pride and joy and I am certain that most people have the best of intentions to keep their new car in good condition. But a lot of us find ourselves falling into improper habits and not do our best to keep the car looking like new. When you are prepared to make a commitment you can continue to keep your car in showroom condition and in this article we will look at the ways you can do this.
You have to keep your car clean regularly particularly when the weather gets wet or snowy. However, simply using car soap and water is not enough to keep it looking sharp. You will find different parts to the external surfaces of your vehicle and you will want to give consideration to what is required for your bodywork, wheels and windows. For the body of your car, wash and shampoo are fantastic and applying all-in-one washes can be effective. Once you finish washing, you need to dry your car using quality microfiber cloths.
Once you finish cleansing the bodywork, you can work on the wheels and windows. You will find several products available that are created for these areas and although this means some extra expenditure it is worth it in the long run. It’s a good idea to have a handful of different cleaning rags and sponges which you use for the different areas of the car. That way any dirt or grime that’s picked up from the wheels is not going to damage the paint job on your body. If you carry out some research you will find the best products for the different tasks. You can even find specific products that are made to clean off tar and insects. How much effort you would like to put in is based on your budget as well.
In addition to keeping the outside of your car looking nice, you will also need to make the interior look great as well. The first thing is to find ways to reduce spills and stains from occurring. It can undoubtedly be challenging if you have children who like to eat and drink on long trips. However, you can’t expect them to remain as careful as you and so investing in seat covers and putting some kind of protection under their feet can be a good idea. Routinely vacuuming your car and using interior shampoos should help keep the car clean and fresh inside.
If you put in the time, energy and money, it will be possible to keep your car looking like new.
